Fusio have been working with our friends in Language.ie on a new website for the Campaign for Civil Marriage. The new site which will launch shortly to mark the launch of the campaign for the referendum on 22 May will replace the current site that we built to encourage voter registration. www.yesequality.ie

Fusio have launched the official website for the Committee of Inquiry into the Banking Crisis which started its first public hearings today, 17th December 2014. The site will contain records of the evidence, the hearings and will provide live streaming of witnesses giving evidence to it.

Working with Irish International we have launched a comprehensive new site for Bord Bia's Origin Green Sustainability programme.  The site, which is fully responsive and has a parallax homepage, contains full details on the programme and on all of its members. Read more

We are delighted to announce the re-design & development of the new Connacht Gold website http://www.connachtgold.ie/. The website now contains their range of products, information about their farmers, up to date news and delicious recipes.

An interesting article from business2community.com asked the question which is more important, mobile apps or mobile websites.

After they surveyed 500 small businesses with both mobile websites and mobile apps. They agreed that both are equally important.

Some interesting statistics from the study showed that:

• 61% of respondents said an app provided a better ROI
• 81% said customers preferred the app to the mobile website
• 75% agreed that an app was better for customer generation
• 86% said an app was better for creating repeat customers
• 61% said the app was used more often
• 68% said customers preferred mobile websites over full desktop versions

Apple sold an estimated of 55.3 million iPhone devices in the last 3 months on 2013.  In October 2013, Apple launched two new iPhone devices. The iPhone 5c which was available in many colours and also the 5s which came with a fingerprint recognition and an A7 processor capable of 64-bit computing. The prices of the previous iPhone 4 model was dropped and also the production of the iPhone 5 was ceased. Apple however,  have a long way to go to compete with Androids 80% share of the smartphone market.

SIBMAS is the International Network of Cultural Heritage in the Performing Arts. Spread across 35 countries around the world, SIBMAS gathers individuals and institutions documenting circus, dance, film, opera, theatre and puppetry. We designed and developed a fresh new site for SIBMAS, showcasing its work and featuring news and info on the organisation. The site is also bi-lingual, with English and French language versions available.

Working with David Lawlor of BrandNew Creative and Amos Unkovich of Ebony and Co, Fusio have developed the new site www.ebonyandco.com. The site features stunning imagery, parallax scrolling, responsive design, a bespoke content management system and a gallery of Ebony and Co’s products. Each page of the site is packed with features that are subtle yet an intricate part of the overall design.

The Financial Ombudsman's site has been relaunched with a new clearer layout and much improved User InterfaceThe step by step process for those who wish to make a complaint about a Financial Services Provider is now a lot easier to use.

Looking for shoes?  PurpleTag.ie is a new Irish site offering a great selection, great prices and easy returns should you need them.  Fusio worked with PurpleTag on the rebrand and redesign to create a new easy to use responsive site.

The website designed and developed by Fusio for Barwa Bank in Qatar has won an award for the "Best Financial Website Design" from International Finance Magazine.  The site is one of four created for Barwa Bank and built on the TerminalFour Content Management System.

The new web and mobile site for Londis has gone live containing information on their Stores, Offers, competitions and News.

Another example of the power of the "Like". Russell Brand caused a bit of a stir in an appearance on the "Morning Joe" show on MSNBC. Our friends in Entertainment.ie posted a YouTube clip of it and it seemed to take off. Google Analytics shows that 90% of the traffic for that page is coming from Facebook and with 98,000 "likes" that certainly makes sense. Total page views should hit a million today which is huge traffic in a single day for one story on the site. The site runs on a bespoke CMS built by Fusio and is hosted on our own servers which managed to handle the traffic without any major issues even when it was serving up about 10 pages a second for that page alone.

Fusio have designed and built a new site for Odlums.  Aswell as detailed information on all of their products it contains a database of almost 500 recipes (including pancakes!), an information area for schools and some great baking tips with videos to help those of us who might need a little assistance in the basics!

The new site for the Qatari Investment Bank - The First Investor - has just been launched.  The site wwas designed and built by Fusio using the Terminalfour Content Management Ssytem.  The site is part of a four site project that Fusio is carrying out for Barwa Bank in Doha.

The new Ombudsman's site is now live. Designed by Fusio and built on the pTools Content Management System, this is the second in a series of six public service websites we are working on with pTools.
