Hosting

FUSIO develop all of our sites on a Windows web server / SQL Server platform. We have developed hundreds of database powered sites using this platform including some of the most popular websites in Ireland and a range of highly prominent public sector sites.

Client sites are typically hosted on one of FUSIO’s servers with the following specification:

  • Hardware: Dell Poweredge 2950 (1.6Ghz Intel Pentium Xeon processors, 4GB RAM, RAID controller).
  • Software: Windows Server 2003, IIS6, MS SQL Server 2005.
  • Internet Bandwidth: Our servers are located in the Hosting365 facility in the Park West Business Park. Our contract with Hosting365 provides us with unlimited access to their connection to the internet.
  • Security/Resilience: The data on the server is stored across 4 disks using a RAID controller. These disks are hot swappable so as to allow the change of a disk without any down time. The server has redundant power supplies, again these are hot swappable to allow changing without down time.

Email

Whether it's just one address or a company wide solution, FUSIO supply full email services bundled with domain name registration. Account set-up is a simple step-by-step process and allows clients to access their email from anywhere in the world. FUSIO offer POP3 account addresses and also web-based email that can be accessed like Hotmail or Gmail on the web. As an extra, we also provide clients with spam and virus protection on all accounts.

Newsletter

FUSIO offer a reliable and robust full-service newsletter management system. This is a web-based publishing and subscriber management software that allows client’s to collect or import subscriber data, organise them into mailing lists, design and send personalised newsletters via email in a customisable HTML template or simple text format and view detailed reports of mailings. It provides a wide range of features including automatic link tracking, double opt-in confirmation system, automatic subscribe/un-subscribe process, 'subscribe a friend' and 'forward to a friend' features, batch sending and public newsletter archive.

Statistics

FUSIO use Google Analytics to provide our clients with full real-time web statistics. This web-based software provides clients with a vast amount of data regarding visitors to their sites, including number of unique visitors, page views, content performance, location of visitors, referring websites and much more. We would recommend using this free service to track site usage and to provide you with the ability to evaluate effectiveness, i.e. compare conversion rates vis-a-vis visits versus buyers etc.
