Ireland’s national Census took place in April 2022 having been postponed from 2021 due to the Covid pandemic. FUSIO won a public tender for the Census Publicity Campaign as part of consortium including Core, MKC Communications and Zenith Media. FUSIO’s role was to design and build a mobile responsive website that would have multiple phases – Enumerator Recruitment, Census Form support and the publishing of initial top line results.
Our work included:
- Mobile first website design built on the WordPress CMS
- High performance hosting
- Multi lingual platform providing all information in Irish and English and comprehensive sections in 20 other languages
- Accessible layout that complied with WCAG guidelines
- Cookie Management
- High level support to the CSO
This is the third Census that FUSIO have worked on with the CSO and we look forward to the move to an online solution in the future.
